Vineyard Montessori School is a great place to have summer fun! Children will have engaging and unique experiences exploring the outdoors, discovering new interests, meeting new friends, and creating memories….all on our beautiful Island!
Mission
Vineyard Montessori Summer Session inspires a lifelong love of learning through friendship, community, skill-building, and exploration. VMS offers a vibrant, nurturing environment where children develop independence, cooperation, and curiosity through enriching, hands-on activities—most of which take place outdoors. VMS licensed programs are designed to provide a safe, caring space for every child to thrive. What a wonderful way to spend your summer!
Registration
November 1st: Priority registration opens for past summer families
December 1st: Registration opens to the general public
March 1st: A-la-carte registration (if space allows) for children attending fewer than 4 weeks
Payment is due in full at time of registration. All payments are non-refundable and non-transferrable. No refunds will be offered under any circumstance, unless the program is cancelled in its entirety. Your registration is complete only when you have submitted payment, completed all required forms, and received an email confirmation.
Ages
The VMS Summer Program serves children ages 2.9–7. Limited summer spaces may also be available in our year-round Toddler Program for children 15 months–2.9 years.

Additional Information
VMS summer programs comply with all state and local regulations and licensing. Safety is a priority at VMS. Our staff participate in extensive training and preparation for their work with children. Low staff to child ratios ensure quality supervision at all times. Toilet training is not a requirement.

Ages 15 months - 2.9 Years
The Toddler Program runs year-round, which includes the Summer Session. Those placements are typically filled by our year-round families, but, on occasion, there is a summer-only opening. Email summer@vineyardmontessori.com to inquire.
Ages 3-7
The Primary and Elementary I Programs run year-round, which includes a Summer Session. Hands-on summer programming includes activities such as gardening, water play, field games, music & movement, STEM, art, and nature exploration.
