Vineyard Montessori School is a great place to have summer fun! Children will have engaging and unique experiences exploring the outdoors, discovering new interests, meeting new friends, and creating memories….all on our beautiful Island!

Vineyard Montessori summer programs foster a lifetime love of learning through friendship, community, skill development, and exploration. We provide your child with a vibrant and caring community that encourages cooperation, independence and discovery. Children are supported with a variety of activities that are enrichment based and hands-on, with a focus on being outdoors. What a wonderful way to spend your summer!

Ages
VMS summer programs are open to children 15 months to 7 years old.
Toddlers must be 15 months by June 25, 2024. Primary/Elementary children must be 2.9 years old by their first day.

Toddler Summer Program for Ages 15 months – 2.9 years old
June 25-August 23
Half Day (8:15 am – 12:00 pm): $4,700
Full Day (8:15 am – 2:15 pm): $6,500
Optional Extended PM (2:15 pm – 4:00 pm): $1,895
Summer Program for Ages 2.9 – 7
Session 1: June 24 – July 19
Full Day (8:30 am – 3:00 pm): $3,100
Session 2: July 22 – August 16
Full Day (8:30 am – 3:00 pm): $3,240
*Currently enrolled VMS families receive a discounted rate.
Payment is due in full at time of registration. All payments are non-refundable. No refunds will be offered under any circumstance, unless the program is cancelled in its entirety.

Ages 15 months – 2.9 years
8:15 am: Drop-off
8:15-9:30 am: Free play (indoor or outdoor)
9:30 am: Snack time
9:30 -11:30 am: Free play (indoor or outdoor)
11:30-12:00pm: Lunch
12:00 pm: Half Day Pick-Up
12:15-2:15 pm: Nap
2:15 pm: Full Day Pick-up
2:15 – 4:00 pm: Extended PM
Ages 2.9-7 years
8:30 am: Drop-off
9:00-10:00 am: Outdoor Games
10:00-10:15 am: Morning Snack
10:15-12:00pm: Nature Explorations
12:00-12:30 pm: Lunch
12:30-3:00 pm: Story, STEM, Art
3:00 pm: Pick-up
Additional Information
Safety is a priority at VMS. Our staff participate in extensive training and preparation for their work with children. Low staff to child ratios ensure quality supervision at all times. Toilet training is not a requirement.

Ages 15 mos - 3
Our Toddler Program runs year-round, which includes July and August. Those placements are typically filled by our year-round families, but, on occasion, there is a summer-only opening. Email admin@vineyardmontessori.com to inquire.
Ages 3-7
Hands-on summer programming includes activities such as gardening, water play, field games, music & movement, STEM, art, and nature exploration.
