Vineyard Montessori School is a non-profit, independent school founded in 1975 and serves children from Toddler through Grade 8 on the beautiful island of Martha’s Vineyard. VMS is located in downtown Vineyard Haven within walking distance of the ferry.

VMS is a dynamic and innovative school, made up of inspiring educators and leaders. As an exceptional Montessori school educating children from Toddler to grade 8, VMS fosters self-motivated, creative, independent thinkers who will develop within themselves the foundational habits, attitudes, skills and ideas which are essential to a lifetime love of learning.
