Annual Fund
VMS has prospered due to a strong heritage of giving. Through our families’ time, energy, and financial support, we have been able to offer exceptional programs to many students for nearly 50 years! Our Annual Fund is made up of gifts from parents, faculty, staff, board members, alumni, grandparents, and friends. Contributions through the years have allowed us to continually update classroom materials, equip classrooms, and maintain a faculty composed of educators of the highest quality.
As with most private schools, tuition alone does not cover all the expenses of our school. Our Annual Fund provides the support needed to close the gap between tuition and costs of educating our students. Your tax-deductible donation to the Annual Fund has an immense and immediate impact on our programming. Contributions of any size are significant. Even the smallest gift is an indication of your support.

VMS Toddler and Preschool Expansion Project
The VMS Toddler Expansion Project brings authentic Montessori education to even more children in our island community. Construction of our 2,400 square foot modular building is complete and we’re excited for this much needed expansion!
Evidence shows that quality early education and care delivers positive child outcomes and enables economic mobility for families. In addition to another Preschool classroom, our flexible new space houses two Toddler classrooms to accommodate more than 18 children and families.

Strong Start Scholarship
The Strong Start Scholarship gives the gift of education to our youngest students in the Toddler and PreK programs (18 months to 6 years old). These foundational years not only provide a safe and nurturing environment in which to learn, but support the workforce in your community. Investing in quality early education and care for working families reaps immediate benefits in the current workforce and invests upstream in tomorrow’s workforce. You can make a difference in the life of a VMS child and their family when you contribute to giving them a strong start to their education.
